Do I have to pay VAT (Value Added Tax)?
20% Vat is only charged to UK customers and EU customers who do not have a valid VAT number, and is added to your basket at the checkout. Customers from outside of the EU will not be charged VAT, but may have to pay local import charges when receiving the goods. EU customers with a valid VAT number will not be charged VAT. Please familiarise yourself with your countries custom taxes and duties if you are unsure.

When will I be charged?
When you enter your payment details into the check-out you are not being charged immediately for the amount payable. You will be charged once your items have been packaged and weighed. This is so we can do an exact carton count and know what postage costs to charge you. Even if you are an existing Payment Plan account customer you will still need to enter your credit/debit card details to proceed through check out. However, you will not be charged and your details will not be kept this is just due to the design of our website.

Do you supply the general public?
No because we are a wholesale company so we only supply to businesses. If you are a member of the public and would like to purchase the Malissa J brand please email info@watch-out-uk.com and we will try to find your local stockist.

Can I split the packs?
Unfortunately, the products that are stated in packs are prepacked and we cannot split them up. A full breakdown of ratios and quantities are given on each styles product information.

Is there a minimum spend on your website?
The website minimum order amount is £150 not including delivery or VAT.

Do you send samples out?
Unfortunately, we are not able to send out samples at this moment in time. However, we do have a showroom based in Leeds that customers can visit to view the full Malissa J range.

Can I use your product images on my website?
Yes, you may use the pictures of any of the products that you have bought from us for the purpose of reselling the product only. We try to provide a front, back and close up image of all garments. We do not allow the images to be used for marketing / advertisement or promotional material outside your own retail store, website or social media.


How often do you receive new stock?
Malissa J adds new lines throughout the year. Generally we receive new styles at the beginning of every season and mid-season. For existing stock we tend to re stock certain styles every 8 weeks.

My chosen item seems to be out of stock, are you getting more in?
Our stock levels fluctuate on a daily basis so we cannot give a guaranteed time for an item to be back in stock. To find out if a specific item is coming back into stock please telephone our office on 0113 245 0506.

Do you have a showroom?
Yes, we have a showroom displaying the Malissa J range based in Leeds. Showroom viewings are by appointment only and must be made via telephone or email. Please see our ‘Contact Us’ page for details.

Do you exhibit at any of the trade shows?
We do indeed! Malissa J exhibits at some of the largest trade shows in the UK including Pure London, Spring Fair Birmingham and more. Please see our ‘Trade Shows’ page for our show timetable.


What delivery options do you provide?
UK Standard, Republic of Ireland, European Delivery, and International Delivery. We also give you the option of self-pick up from our warehouse, or arrange your own courier. Please see our Delivery Information page for more details about the delivery options.

How much does delivery cost? Will I need to sign for delivery?
A standard fee of £5.00 will be added to your total amount at checkout. This is the price per carton for standard UK delivery. If your delivery costs are higher or than this amount one of our team members will notify you. A signature will be required for all UPS deliveries.

What happens if my parcel is lost / damaged on arrival?
Please contact us informing us of your issue as soon as possible, we can then investigate this issue further with our couriers.

Can you deliver to a different address than my billing address?
Yes, please log in to your account before you place your order. Click on the ‘My Account’ tab then click on the ‘Address Book’ tab. Add a new shipping address by clicking on the ‘Add New Address’ tab. Alternatively, please call the office on 0113 245 05 06.


How do I return an item?
You will need to contact our office via telephone or email to request an authorisation code. Please state your authorisation code on your package label. Write a letter detailing the authorisation code, reason for returning the item(s), your details and the date of return. Enclose this letter with your item(s) and send it to our address. Please see our Returns & Exchanges page for more information.

I have lost my returns authorisation code, what do I do?
Don’t worry! Please contact the office via telephone or email and we will give you your returns authorisation code.

Can I have a refund instead of an exchange?
Our returns policy is that if we can repair the item(s) or we have the item(s) you are returning in stock we will replace it even if you request a refund. If the item(s) is damaged beyond repair or we do not have the item(s) in stock we will credit your Malissa J account with the amount due including postage costs.

Do you refund return postage costs?
If the item is damaged beyond repair or incorrect we will cover your postage cost, please send the receipt of postage at the time of sending your item. We will need to retain this receipt for our records. If the item(s) is not damaged or incorrect you will be liable for postage costs. Technical How do I register to the website? Just simply click on the ‘Register Here!’ tab at the top right hand side. Fill in all of your details and click ‘Submit’ wait for us to approve your account. Once your account has been approved you will receive an email from us confirming your account. How do I sign up for the newsletter? Click on the ‘My Account’ tab and go to ‘Newsletter subscriptions’ tick the box for general subscription. I have forgotten my password! Don’t Panic! Simply click on the ‘Forgot Your Password’ tab on the log in page and enter your email address. You will receive an email containing a link for you to reset your password.
